PHOTO COMPETITION -2023
Himalayan Ecological Research Institute for Training and Grass Roots Enhancement is organizing a photo competition .The contest is free and open to all and is aimed at re-discovering the different faces of Uttarakhand; be it Rural and Tribal Women, Folk Culture and Costumes, Rural Livelihood, Nature, Wildlife and Pilgrimage Centres .The theme of the contest is “Depiction of Everyday Life in Himalayas” and the submitted photos shall reflect this theme with a short write up (English/Hindi) defining the concept. By entering into the contest and submitting the photos, you are deemed to agree and abide by the terms and conditions below.
Terms & Conditions:
- The Photo Contest is open to all.
- Image size: Minimum requirements print size 10”×14” and maximum 12”×18”
- Only Hardcopies of the photos (Colour/Monochrome) are accepted without any water mark or border.
- Print paper should be matt or glossy only.
- Title should be written on back side of photograph with photographers name, Email address and Mobile Number.
- Maximum 4 entries per contestant are allowed.
- Jury and organizers shall select the photos for exhibition and also decide the winners amongst the photos during the exhibition in the month of March last or April 2023 First week.
- The decision of Jury and organizer will be final.
- Heritage reserves the right to accept/reject any of the photographs without citing any reason.
- Any entry of a copyrighted photo of other person will be liable for any damages whatsoever.
- Heritage will bring out the compilation of selected photos in a form of coffee table book.
- Heritage reserves the right to upload/publish photos by providing due credits to the contestant.
- The contestant shall certify that the work as submitted as his or her own images and in no case incorporate elements produced by anyone else (for example clip art, images or art by downloaded from the internet) aliases are not allowed.
- The last date of Submission is 15th March,2023
Winners will be honoured with prizes, medals and a certificate of appreciation.
First Prize: Rs 5000/- (by Dr.Rupali Joshi, IBPS, Mumbai in memory of her Late mother Mrs Ragini Srivastva)
Second Prize: Rs 3000/- (Heritage Fraternity)
Third Prize: Rs 2000/- (Heritage Fraternity)
