Manish K. Verma is Professor in the Department of Sociology at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar (Central) University, Lucknow and Secretary, Indian Sociological Society, N. Delhi. Earlier he served as Head and Deputy Coordinator UGC SAP DRS-I in the Department of Sociology; and Controller of Examinations, Coordinator Sports and Asst. Proctor of the University. Having obtained doctorate degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, he has more than 24 years of teaching and research experience which includes more than 9 years in the capacity of Professor and 3 and a half years as Controller of Examinations. Dr. Manisha Tripathy Pandey, Professor and Head, is a sociologist at the Department of Sociology, Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university in Delhi. She has over twenty years of experience in teaching and has taught both at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Her research and scholarship have examined the issues of development, globalization, ethnicity, middle class, diaspora, capitalism, markets, economic policies and violence. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Miranda House, University of Delhi, Master’s from Delhi School of Economics and M. Phil. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has taught at several institutions and lectured widely in India and abroad. She has been visiting faculty at School of Development Studies, TISS, Mumbai; Department of Development Communication and Extension, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi; Ahiliabai College of Nursing, University of Delhi and Regional Training Institute, Government of India, Nagpur. She has published articles in professional journals as well as in edited volumes. Her current research interests lie in the following areas: markets and economic life, development studies, globalization studies, urban Studies, cultural studies and contemporary social theory.

Ashish Saxena presently is Professor & Head, Department of Sociology at University of Allahabad since 2014. Earlier he was Associate Professor in Sociology at University of Jammu and was also Director (I), Ambedkar Studies Centre; He has over twenty years of teaching experience and has significant publications on the issues related to social exclusion, Social Justice, Subaltern communities, Land reforms, Democratic decentralization, Identity politics and Globalization in India with specific reference to Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir State. He is recipient of prestigious UGC-DAAD fellowship 2014 under the UGC-DAAD exchange of scientist programme in Humanities and Social Sciences at SAI, University of Heidelberg, GERMANY. On the eve of honorable PM Modi’s birth anniversary; he has been felicitated with the prestigious ‘Sulabh Swacchta Samman 2016’; ‘Gold medal’ for academic contribution in the field of ‘Sociology of Sanitation ‘and Action Sociology by Sulabh International. DIPTI RANJAN SAHU has around 30 years of teaching and research experiences. More than 11 years as Professor of Sociology at Ravenshaw University and Lucknow University. Five years of Headship in the Department of Sociology at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha (2010-12) and University of Lucknow (2016-19) and currently in charge of the Department of Sociology, Univerity of Lucknow as Coordinator.

Prof Jyoti Joshi serving in Dept of Sociology, Kumaun University since July 1999.She headed the dept from oct 2018 to sep2020.She did her Master’s in Sociology from the Bansthali University with first position in the order of merit for which university gold medal was bestowed upon her. She has made valuable research publication in reputed International and National journal. Folk studies has been her main area of research interest and writing. Of late, her research areas have diversified into the areas of gender and sexuality.

Dr. Ankur Saxena is a Professor at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat. He is having more than two decades of teaching and research experience. Currently, he also acts as a Secretary, National Association of Professional Social Workers in India.  As far as his educational qualifications are concerned, he received his Bachelors in Science degree from the Faculty of Science, The M.S University of Baroda and Masters in Social Work from the Faculty of Social Work, The M.S University of Baroda. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work (Ph.D.) from the Faculty of Social work, The M.S University of Baroda. Apart from these, he completed his P.G Diploma in Human Resource Development (PGHRD) from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, the M.S. University of Baroda. Additionally, He also completed P.G Diploma in IRPM from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans, Baroda.As a Ph.D. guide he has mentored and shared his expertise with various research scholars. He has been invited as a Resource Person in National and International Seminars and Conferences across India.  He has made valuable research publication in reputed National and International Peer Reviewed and Scopus Indexed Journal, Books and Chapters in books. He is associated with various professional and academic bodies at local, state and national levels.

Prof Ila sah is a professor in the department of sociology at Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora. Prof. Sah has more than 30 years of teaching experience. She did her Master’s in Sociology from Kumaun University with a gold medal. She has made valuable research publications in reputed International and National Journals. Culture and Society have been her main area of research. Prof. Sah guided and supervised more than a dozen scholars.

Dr. Swati Jindal Garg is an Advocate-on-Record practising in the Supreme Court of India,   Delhi High Court and all District Courts and Tribunals in Delhi. She has done her Doctorate in Criminal Law and is the Legal Member in the Internal Complaints Committee of various private as well as Government Organizations. She is also an empanelled advocate of various government institutions. Dr. Swati has also been a visiting professor in Law Centre-I, Law Faculty, Delhi University and has been writing on various legal issues in reputed journals and legal magazines and is a certified POSH Trainer and External Member in the ICCs of various Government, Non-Government and Corporate Organisation. She has authored books on legal issues impacting women as working on women related issues is her keen area of interest. Confidence building and leadership development of women is close to her heart and she is a firm believer of the fact that holistic development happens women coach women and take each other forward. 

Prof. M. M. Semwal is the Head of the Department of Political Science at HNB Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. He is a political scientist with over 31+ years of rich, multi-disciplinary academic and research experience in political science. He has demonstrated experience and expertise in defining research priorities, project management, academic administration, coordination with various stakeholders, including policymakers and NGOs. He was deputy co-Ordinator (UGC-SAP-DRS II) programme. He has published 6 books,78+ research papers, contributed 112 popular articles in leading newspapers and magazines.

He has occupied leadership positions in academics, research, advocacy, institution building and programme management. He is a Program Coordinator of Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE) under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. He was a state nodal officer for Celebration of 70th Anniversary of Constitution Day, Uttarakhand State Co-ordinating University by UGC-MHRD and Nodal Officer of Citizens’ Duties Awareness Program (CDAP), Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India. He is the president of Uttarakhand Political Science Association (UPSA) and the International Goodwill Society of India, Garhwal Chapter. He is also a life member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), Indian Political Science Association, Indian Public Administration Association. He is also a member of the board of studies in many universities and editorial boards of many reputed UGC Care journals.

Rekha Pande is a Professor of History and Women’s Studies. She is currently a Professor Emeritus at the Henry Martin Institute, an International Centre for Research, Interfaith Relations and Reconciliation, Hyderabad.  She is also the Director of Society for Empowerment through Environment development (SEED). She was earlier the Head of the Department of History and Head, Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of Hyderabad. She was also the Director of Women’s Studies at the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).  She has been the founding member of two Centres for Women’s Studies, one at Maulana Azad National Urdu University and the other at the University of Hyderabad. She was the Chair of the Women’s World Congress in 2014 organized for the first time in India. She has to her credit 21 books and more than 200 articles in National and International Journals, book chapters and   proceedings.  Her work is in the Inter disciplinary area of History and Women’s Studies. She has been the Editor of, International Feminist Journal of Politics (IFJP), Rout ledge Taylor and Francis group, U.K. She also edited Foreign Policy Analysis, which is published by Blackwell, USA.

B.K. Nagla born on 30th January 1946 at Jawad in the district of Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. He studied at Udaipur University, Udaipur and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and obtained Ist class in M.A. in 1972 from Udaipur and also received M.Phil. in 1974 and Ph.D. in 1978 from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Before joining at M.D. University in 1978, he has researched at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and also taught at M.S. University, Baroda and Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, New Delhi. He retired as professor of sociology from M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana in 2006. After the retirement from M.D. University, Rohtak, he worked as consultant at Kota Open University and also joined at Banaras Hindu University as Professor on Babu Jagjivan Ram Chair. He has been visiting professor in many universities in India and abroad, mainly Maisondes sciences de l’homme (MSH) Paris, The International Institute of Social Studies (ISS)- Indo-Dutch Programme on Alternatives in Development (IDPAD),The Hague, and also in India at GND University, Amritsar; Bombay University, Mumbai; Pondicherry University, Puducherry; Osmania University, Hyderabad; Kashmir University, Srinagar; Shivaji University Kolhapur; Pune University, Poona; University of Rajasthan, Jaipur etc and also delivered lectures at many universities in India and abroad. He has completed a large number of projects sponsored by ICSSR, NGO and state and central government etc. He is distinguished social analyst. His work includes political sociology, sociology of profession, sociology of deviance and crime and studies on underprivileged.
